The Lamar County Trojans basketball team scored 53 points and limited the visiting Upson-Lee Knights to 42 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Trojans now possess a 19-4 record. They play next when they host Southwest Atlanta Christian for a A D1 Region 4 game on Tuesday, February 4.

With the loss, Upson-Lee falls to 8-11 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Fayette County (Fayetteville, GA) to play the Tigers in a AAA Region 2 game on Monday, February 3. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 16-4. Fayette County won 61-53 in their recent league game against Sandy Creek (Tyrone, GA)
