The Temple Academy Bereans (Waterville, ME) basketball crushed the host Pine Tree Academy Breakers (Freeport, ME), 49-25 in Saturday's league bout.
The Bereans now possess a 12-9 record. They play next when they host Buckfield for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 4. Temple Academy will play a Bucks team coming off a 48-22 non-league win over Pine Tree Academy (Freeport, ME). The Bucks record now stands at 14-3.
With the loss, Pine Tree Academy falls to 7-9 on the campaign. The Breakers host Valley (Bingham, ME) to play the Cavaliers in a D South bout on Monday, February 3. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 15-0. Valley won 64-22 in their recent league bout against Vinalhaven (Vinalhaven, ME)
