Airport Jets (Carleton, MI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Jefferson Bears (Monroe, MI), 79-49 in a league bout.

With the victory, Airport upgrades its record to 9-9 on the campaign. The Jets travel to Grosse Ile (Grosse Ile, MI) to play the Red Devils in a Huron bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Red Devils come into the bout with a record of 9-7. Grosse Ile lost 59-52 in their recent league bout against Flat Rock (Flat Rock, MI)

Next up, the Bears play the Riverview Pirates (Riverview, MI) in a Huron bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record.
