Massachusetts High School Basketball - Amesbury knocked off by Ipswich

The Ipswich Tigers basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Amesbury Indians to 55 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Georgetown for a Cape Ann - Small contest on Tuesday, February 14. Ipswich will meet a Royals team coming off a 59-48 league loss to Rockport (Rockport, MA). The Royals record now stands at 13-4.

The Indians (1-15) will now prepare for their contest against Manchester Essex (Manchester, MA). The Hornets enter the Cape Ann - Small contest with a 15-2 record. In their last contest, Manchester Essex ran past Hamilton-Wenham Regional (South Hamilton, MA), 71-43, in a non-league contest.
