Texas High School Basketball - Blooming Grove can't hold off Kemp

The Kemp Yellowjackets basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Blooming Grove Lions to 54 in the Yellowjackets league triumph on Friday.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 20-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eustace for a 3A Region III District 18 contest on Tuesday, February 14. Kemp will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 60-28 league loss to Palmer (Palmer, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-24.
The Lions (11-11) will now prepare for their contest against Scurry-Rosser (Scurry, TX). The Wildcats enter the 3A Region III District 18 contest with a 18-10 record. In their last contest, Scurry-Rosser nudged Malakoff (Malakoff, TX), 61-28, in a league contest.
