The Eagles now sport a 23-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bastrop for a 5A Region III District 23 battle on Tuesday, February 14. Georgetown will battle a Bears team coming off a 58-51 league loss to Cedar Creek (Cedar Creek, TX). The Bears record now stands at 8-22.
The Patriots (26-10) will now prepare for their battle against Pflugerville Connally (Austin, TX). The Cougars come into the 5A Region III District 23 battle with a 25-8 record. In their last battle, Pflugerville Connally edged Hendrickson (Pflugerville, TX), 58-50, in a league battle.
