Fairview Tigers (Fairview, PA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host North East Grape Pickers (North East, PA), 62-60 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Fairview upgrades its record to 13-7 on the campaign. The Tigers host Mercyhurst Prep (Erie, PA) to play the Lakers in a non-league bout on Friday, February 17. The Lakers come into the bout with a record of 10-10.

Next up, the Grape Pickers play the Mercyhurst Prep Lakers (Erie, PA) in a District 10 Region 3 bout, on Tuesday, February 14. North East will attempt to upgrade on its 11-8 season record. The Lakers come into the bout with a 10-10 record after their 76-52 league win over Iroquois (Erie, PA).
