The King Panthers (Houston, TX) basketball felled the host Humble Wildcats (Humble, TX), 89-71 in Friday's league test.

The Panthers (9-19) will now prepare for their test against North Shore (Houston, TX). The Mustangs go into the 6A Region III District 21 test with a 14-17 record. In their last test, North Shore was beaten by Beaumont United (Beaumont, TX), 75-53, in a league test.

The Wildcats now own a 7-25 record. They play next when they travel to Summer Creek for a 6A Region III District 21 test on Tuesday, February 14. Humble will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 67-60 league win over West Brook (Beaumont, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 25-8.
