The Woodstock North Thunder (Woodstock, IL) basketball knocked off the visiting Johnsburg Skyhawks (Johnsburg, IL), 79-70 in Friday's league test.
The Thunder (15-13) will now prepare for their test against Harvest Christian Academy (Elgin, IL). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 22-8 record. In their last test, Harvest Christian Academy went down by South Beloit (South Beloit, IL), 60-28, in a non-league test.
The Skyhawks now own a 15-13 record. They play next when they travel to Richmond-Burton for a Kishwaukee River test on Wednesday, February 15. Johnsburg will encounter a Rockets squad coming off a 60-37 non-league win over Alden-Hebron (Hebron, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 8-20.
