The Marblehead Magicians basketball team (Marblehead, MA), was nudged 70-63 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Masconomet Regional Chieftains (Boxford, MA)
The Chieftains now sport a 6-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Danvers for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 14. Masconomet Regional will battle a Falcons team coming off a 83-82 league win over Saugus (Saugus, MA). The Falcons record now stands at 5-13.
The Magicians (10-6) will now prepare for their battle against Gloucester (Gloucester, MA). The Fishermen come into the Northeastern - Small battle with a 9-7 record. In their last battle, Gloucester edged East Boston (East Boston, MA), 55-54, in a non-league battle.
