The Thomas Jefferson Gryphons (Mooresboro, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Cherryville Ironmen (Cherryville, NC), 55-21 in Friday's league test.
The Gryphons (13-9) will now prepare for their test against Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC). The Rams go into the non-league test with a 7-16 record. In their last test, Highland Tech was trounced by East Gaston (Mt. Holly, NC), 38-29, in a league test.
The Ironmen now own a 3-20 record.
