In Saturday's non-league outing, the Champlain Valley Union Redhawks (Hinesburg, VT) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Brattleboro Bears (Brattleboro, VT), by a margin of 50-28.

The Redhawks (15-1) will now prepare for their outing against Rice Memorial (South Burlington, VT). The Green Knights go into the Metro outing with a 1-14 record. In their last outing, Rice Memorial was trounced by Bellows Free Academy (St. Albans, VT), 55-32, in a league outing.

The Bears now own a 9-7 record. They play next when they travel to Burr & Burton for a Marble Valley - A outing on Wednesday, February 14. Brattleboro will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 67-23 league loss to Rutland (Rutland, VT). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-9.
