West Virginia High School Basketball - Pocahontas County topped by Pendleton County

February 10, 2024: Dunmore, WV 2493

The Pendleton County Wildcat basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the host Pocahontas County Warriors to 36 in the Wildcat league victory on Saturday.

The Wildcat now sport a 8-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tucker County for a Potomac Valley contest on Tuesday, February 13. Pendleton County will battle a Mountain Lions team coming off a 51-49 non-league win over Petersburg (Petersburg, WV). The Mountain Lions record now stands at 15-5.

The Warriors (8-10) will now prepare for their bout against Richwood (Richwood, WV). The Lumberjacks go into the non-league bout with a 12-7 record. In their last bout, Richwood topped Greater Beckley Christian (Prosperity, WV), 57-37, in a league bout.
