In Monday's league test, the Las Cruces Bulldawgs (Las Cruces, NM) basketball squad trounced the host Gadsden Panthers (Anthony, NM), by a score of 72-39.
Next, the Bulldawgs encounter the Organ Mountain Knights (Las Cruces, NM) in a 5A District 3 test, on Thursday, February 13. Las Cruces will attempt to improve on its 13-10 season record. The Knights come into the test with a 18-5 record after their 71-59 league win over Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM).
The Panthers (5-17) will now prepare for their test against Centennial (Las Cruces, NM). The Hawks come into the 5A District 3 test with a 9-14 record. In their last test, Centennial bounced Mayfield (Las Cruces, NM), 47-33, in a league test.
