In Monday's league contest, the host Gideon Bulldogs basketball team scored a big 63-36 triumph over the Holcomb Hornets.

The Bulldogs (11-10) will now prepare for their contest against Southland (Cardwell, MO). The Rebels go into the Tri-County - Southeast contest with a 7-7 record. In their last contest, Southland was trounced by Malden (Malden, MO), 74-55, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Hornets confront the Neelyville Tigers (Neelyville, MO) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 17. Holcomb will attempt to better on its 2-17 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 9-13 record after their 68-54 league loss to Twin Rivers (Broseley, MO).
