The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Gideon Bulldogs (Gideon, MO) and the host Holcomb Hornets (Holcomb, MO), observed Gideon's basketball team overwhelm Holcomb by a margin of 59-38.

The Bulldogs (9-9) will now prepare for their challenge against North Pemiscot (Wardell, MO). The Mustangs come into the Tri-County - Southeast challenge with a 0-13 record. In their last challenge, North Pemiscot was trounced by Risco (Risco, MO), 84-14, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Hornets battle the Advance Hornets (Advance, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 6. Holcomb will attempt to better on its 2-14 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 3-13 record after their 73-32 league loss to Woodland (Marble Hill, MO).
