The Patrick County Cougars basketball team scored 67 points and limited the visiting James River Knights to 55 in the Cougars league triumph on Monday.

The Cougars now possess a 6-17 record.

With the loss, James River falls to 7-15 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Glenvar (Salem, VA) to confront the Highlanders in a Three Rivers game on Wednesday, February 12. The Highlanders go into the game with a record of 14-6. Glenvar won 62-58 in their recent league game against Alleghany (Covington, VA)
