The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Burns Hilanders (Burns, OR) and the visiting McLoughlin Pioneers (Milton-Freewater, OR), observed Burns's basketball team overwhelm McLoughlin by a score of 63-25.

The Hilanders (15-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Crane (Crane, OR). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 22-3 record.

In their next game, the Pioneers encounter the Umatilla Vikings (Umatilla, OR) in a 3A Eastern Oregon challenge, on Friday, February 14. McLoughlin will attempt to improve on its 2-18 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 11-9 record after their 63-17 league loss to Vale (Vale, OR).
