In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Newburgh Free Academy Goldbacks basketball team scored a good 75-56 triumph over the Middletown Middie Bears.
The Goldbacks (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Valley Central (Montgomery, NY). The Vikings go into the non-league contest with a 0-10 record.
In their next game, the Middie Bears battle the Colonie Central Wolfpack (Albany, NY) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, February 15. Middletown will attempt to better on its 8-6 season record. The Wolfpack go into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 58-54 non-league loss to Kingston (Kingston, NY).
