In Monday's league contest, the host Wesley Chapel Wildcats lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-8 triumph over the Land O' Lakes Gators.
The Wildcats (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Lakeland (Lakeland, FL). The Dreadnaughts go into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Lakeland was nipped by IMG Academy (Bradenton, FL), 19-3, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Gators meet the Tampa Prep Terrapins (Tampa, FL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, February 14. Land O' Lakes will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Terrapins go into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Out-of-Door Academy (Sarasota, FL).
