West Virginia High School Basketball - St. Joseph Central trounces Covenant

February 11, 2023: Huntington, WV 25701

The St. Joseph Central Irish (Huntington, WV) basketball crushed the visiting Covenant Eagles (Barboursville, WV), 80-47 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Irish (10-8) will now prepare for their test against Buffalo (Buffalo, WV). The Bison go into the non-league test with a 10-8 record. In their last test, Buffalo walloped Clay County (Clay, WV), 71-44, in a league test.

The Eagles now own a 5-13 record. They play next when they travel to Mount Hope Christian Academy for a non-league test on Monday, February 13. Covenant will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 54-51 league win over Cross Lanes Christian (Charleston, WV). The Warriors record now stands at 14-8.
