Frederick Gunn Highlanders (Washington, CT) fans left the game thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their ice hockey team achieve victory over the host Greenwich Academy Gators (Greenwich, CT), 6-1 in a league match.

The Highlanders (6-10) will now prepare for their match against Westminster School (Simsbury, CT). The Martlets enter the match with a 10-8 record. In their last match, Westminster School held off Canterbury School (New Milford, CT), 2-0, in a league match.

Next up, the Gators encounter the Greenwich Country Day Tigers (Greenwich, CT) in a match, on Monday, February 13. Greenwich Academy will attempt to advance on its 3-10 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 2-16 record after their 4-3 league loss to Hotchkiss School (Lakeville, CT).
