New Mexico High School Basketball - Elida nips Lake Arthur

In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Elida Tigers basketball team scored a close 2-0 win over the Lake Arthur Panthers.
The Tigers (9-12) will now prepare for their contest against Dora (Dora, NM). The Coyotes come into the A District 4 contest with a 8-14 record. In their last contest, Dora was tipped by Melrose (Melrose, NM), 76-38, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Floyd Broncos (Floyd, NM) in a A District 4 contest, on Thursday, February 13. Lake Arthur will attempt to better on its 1-13 season record. The Broncos come into the contest with a 7-12 record after their 68-27 league loss to Gateway Christian (Roswell, NM).
