The Oil City Oilers basketball squad (Oil City, PA), was nudged 53-50 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Franklin Knights (Franklin, PA)
With the victory, Franklin advances its record to 11-10 on the year. The Knights host Seneca (Erie, PA) to meet the Bobcats in a District 10 Region 5 battle on Friday, February 14. The Bobcats enter the battle with a record of 3-18. Seneca lost 66-33 in their recent league battle against Fort LeBoeuf (Waterford, PA)
The Oilers now own a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Conneaut Area for a District 10 Region 5 battle on Friday, February 14. Oil City will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 75-60 league loss to Warren (Warren, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 9-12.
