The Sherrard Tigers basketball team scored 52 points and limited the host Kewanee Boilermakers to 41 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now possess a 24-3 record. They play next when they host Monmouth-Roseville for a Three Rivers - West game on Friday, February 14. Sherrard will confront a Titans team coming off a 60-50 league loss to Orion (Orion, IL). The Titans record now stands at 11-15.

With the loss, Kewanee falls to 14-15 on the campaign. The Boilermakers host Newman Central Catholic (Sterling, IL) to confront the Comets in a Three Rivers - East game on Friday, February 14. The Comets go into the game with a record of 15-14. Newman Central Catholic won 72-44 in their recent non-league game against Putnam County (Granville, IL)
