Illinois High School Basketball - Sherrard fells Kewanee

The Sherrard Tigers basketball team scored 63 points and limited the host Kewanee Boilermakers to 48 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Tigers now have a 28-3 record. They play next when they travel to Orion for a non-league game on Friday, February 28. Sherrard will confront a Chargers team coming off a 39-38 non-league win over Mercer County (Aledo, IL). The Chargers record now stands at 25-7.

With the loss, Kewanee falls to 15-18 on the campaign.
