Nebraska High School Basketball - Columbus routs Burke

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Columbus Discoverers basketball team scored a big 49-19 win over the Burke Bulldogs.

The Discoverers (10-10) will now prepare for their contest against Fremont (Fremont, NE). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 7-13 record. In their last contest, Fremont smashed Buena Vista (Omaha, NE), 40-28, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Papillion-LaVista Monarchs (Papillion, NE) in a A District 1 contest, on Friday, February 14. Burke will attempt to better on its 1-18 season record. The Monarchs come into the contest with a 11-9 record after their 76-48 league win over Benson (Omaha, NE).
