The Providence Grove Patriots basketball team scored 49 points and limited the host Wheatmore Warriors to 48 in the Patriots league triumph on Tuesday.

The Patriots now have a 15-7 record. They play next when they host Eastern Randolph for a 1A/2A Piedmont game on Thursday, February 13. Providence Grove will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 53-37 league win over Trinity (Trinity, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-15.

With the loss, Wheatmore falls to 13-9 on the campaign. The Warriors host Uwharrie Charter Academy (Asheboro, NC) to confront the Eagles in a 1A/2A Piedmont game on Thursday, February 13. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 19-6. Uwharrie Charter Academy lost 64-39 in their recent league game against Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC)
