North Carolina High School Basketball - Wheatmore knocked off by Providence Grove

In Tuesday's league test, the Providence Grove Patriots (Franklinville, NC) basketball squad knocked off the host Wheatmore Warriors (Trinity, NC), by a score of 60-50.

Next, the Patriots encounter the Eastern Randolph Wildcats (Ramseur, NC) in a non-league test, on Thursday, February 13. Providence Grove will attempt to improve on its 10-10 season record.

The Warriors (16-4) will now prepare for their test against Uwharrie Charter Academy (Asheboro, NC). The Eagles come into the test with a 5-13 record. In their last test, Uwharrie Charter Academy beat Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC), 50-38, in a non-league test.
