In Tuesday's league outing, the host El Campo Ricebirds soccer squad scored a tight 7-2 victory over the Rice Consolidated Raiders.

The Ricebirds (9-4) will now prepare for their outing against Bay City (Bay City, TX). The Blackcats go into the 4A Region 3 District 22 outing with a 13-0 record. In their last outing, Bay City got by Palacios (Palacios, TX), 7-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Raiders play the Calhoun Sandcrabs (Port Lavaca, TX) in a 4A Region 3 District 22 outing, on Friday, February 14. Rice Consolidated will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record. The Sandcrabs go into the outing with a 8-4 record after their 9-1 league win over Hallettsville (Hallettsville, TX).
