In Friday's league outing, the host El Campo Ricebirds soccer squad scored a nice 9-0 victory over the Rice Consolidated Raiders.

The Ricebirds (14-5) will now prepare for their outing against Palacios (Palacios, TX). The Sharks go into the 4A Region 3 District 22 outing with a 4-12 record. In their last outing, Palacios was overwhelmed by Bay City (Bay City, TX), 7-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Raiders play the Columbus Cardinals (Columbus, TX) in a 4A Region 3 District 22 outing, on Tuesday, March 11. Rice Consolidated will attempt to improve on its 11-9 season record. The Cardinals go into the outing with a 7-7 record after their 3-0 league win over Wharton (Wharton, TX).
