The Hancock County Hornets (Lewisport, KY) basketball knocked off the host Trinity Raiders (Whitesville, KY), 56-42 in Monday's non-league test.
The Hornets (8-13) will now prepare for their test against Edmonson County (Brownsville, KY). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 8-13 record. In their last test, Edmonson County notched a victory over Marion County (Lebanon, KY), 68-59, in a non-league test.
The Raiders now own a 1-23 record. They play next when they travel to Heritage Christian Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 13. Trinity will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 64-31 non-league loss to McLean County (Calhoun, KY). The Warriors record now stands at 12-12.
