In Wednesday's league contest, the visiting Appling County Pirates basketball team scored a big 61-21 win over the Cook Hornets.

The Pirates (18-7) will now prepare for their contest against Tattnall County (Reidsville, GA). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 18-5 record. In their last contest, Tattnall County smashed Pierce County (Blackshear, GA), 40-18, in a non-league contest.
