Gospel Light Christian (Walkertown, NC) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Cramerton Christian Academy Crusaders (Cramerton, NC), 39-35 in a league bout.

With the victory, Gospel Light Christian upgrades its record to 11-13 on the campaign. The host Woodland Baptist Christian (Winston-Salem, NC) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, February 17. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 17-5. Woodland Baptist Christian won 61-34 in their recent non-league bout against Community Baptist (Reidsville, NC)

Next up, the Crusaders play the Faith Christian Eagles (Ramseur, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 17. Cramerton Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 10-17 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 16-9 record after their 53-46 non-league loss to Central Carolina Prep (Burlington, NC).
