Mercer Mustangs (Mercer, PA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Farrell Steelers (Farrell, PA), 48-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Mercer upgrades its record to 12-8 on the season. The Mustangs host Kennedy Catholic (Hermitage, PA) to clash with the in a District 10 Region 1 bout on Thursday, February 16. The go into the bout with a record of 16-4. Kennedy Catholic won 68-32 in their recent league bout against West Middlesex (West Middlesex, PA)

Next up, the Steelers clash with the Reynolds Raiders (Greenville, PA) in a District 10 Region 1 game, on Thursday, February 16. Farrell will attempt to move on its 6-13 season record.
