The Richland County Tigers basketball team (Olney, IL), was overwhelmed 63-38 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Mattoon Greenwave (Mattoon, IL)

The Greenwave now possess a 14-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Effingham for a non-league battle on Friday, February 17. Mattoon will battle a Flaming Hearts team coming off a 87-15 non-league win over Charleston (Charleston, IL). The Flaming Hearts record now stands at 20-10.
