North Carolina High School Basketball - Patton trounces Chase

The Patton Panthers (Morganton, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Chase Trojans (Forest City, NC), 87-23 in Tuesday's league test.
The Panthers (20-3) will now prepare for their test against Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC). The Bearcats go into the 1A/2A Mountain Foothills test with a 16-6 record. In their last test, Hendersonville walloped Brevard (Brevard, NC), 63-58, in a league test.
The Trojans now own a 1-20 record. They play next when they travel to R-S Central for a 1A/2A Mountain Foothills test on Friday, February 16. Chase will encounter a Hilltoppers squad coming off a 74-39 league loss to East Rutherford (Forest City, NC). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 8-15.
