Illinois High School Basketball - Deer Creek-Mackinaw topped by Flanagan-Cornell

The Flanagan-Cornell Falcons basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Deer Creek-Mackinaw Chiefs to 42 in the Falcons league victory on Tuesday.

The Falcons now sport a 18-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fisher for a Heart of Illinois contest on Thursday, February 15. Flanagan-Cornell will battle a Bunnies team coming off a 59-42 league loss to Tri-Valley (Downs, IL). The Bunnies record now stands at 6-21.

The Chiefs (8-21) will now prepare for their contest against Eureka (Eureka, IL). The Hornets come into the Heart of Illinois contest with a 12-17 record. In their last contest, Eureka prevailed over Lexington (Lexington, IL), 48-32, in a league contest.
