Frederick Douglass Broncos (Lexington, KY) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Henry Clay Blue Devils (Lexington, KY), 64-57 in a league bout.

With the victory, Frederick Douglass upgrades its record to 16-10 on the campaign. The Broncos host Lexington Catholic (Lexington, KY) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 14. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 24-2.

Next up, the Blue Devils play the Sayre Spartans (Lexington, KY) in a District 42 bout, on Friday, February 16. Henry Clay will attempt to upgrade on its 19-6 season record.
