Washington, DC High School Basketball - Idea nudges Friendship Collegiate Academy

Idea Timberwolves (Washington, DC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Friendship Collegiate Academy Knights (Washington, DC), 71-69 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Idea upgrades its record to 22-6 on the season. The Timberwolves host E.L. Haynes (Washington, DC) to clash with the in a PCSAA A bout on Thursday, February 15. The go into the bout with a record of 6-17. E.L. Haynes lost 83-44 in their recent non-league bout against Meridian (Falls Church, VA)
Next up, the Knights clash with the Georgetown Day Mighty Hoppers (Washington, DC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 16. Friendship Collegiate Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 12-15 season record. The Mighty Hoppers go into the bout with a 7-17 record after their 69-52 league loss to Potomac School (McLean, VA).
