Knox Central Panthers (Barbourville, KY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Harlan Green Dragons (Harlan, KY), 68-58 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Knox Central upgrades its record to 17-8 on the season. The Panthers host Bourbon County (Paris, KY) to play the Colonels in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 17. The Colonels go into the bout with a record of 11-13. Bourbon County won 72-54 in their recent league bout against Paris (Paris, KY)

Next up, the Green Dragons play the South Laurel Cardinals (London, KY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 17. Harlan will attempt to upgrade on its 5-18 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 14-9 record after their 66-37 non-league win over Bell County (Pineville, KY).
