North Carolina High School Basketball - Independence overwhelms Rocky River

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Independence Patriots (Charlotte, NC) and the visiting Rocky River Ravens (Mint Hill, NC), saw Independence's basketball squad wallop Rocky River by a tally of 87-62.
With the victory, Independence improves its record to 18-5 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Butler (Matthews, NC) to confront the Bulldogs in a 4A Southwestern challenge on Friday, February 16. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 16-7. Butler won 66-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC)
Next up, the Ravens confront the Garinger Wildcats (Charlotte, NC) in a 4A Southwestern challenge, on Friday, February 16. Rocky River will attempt to improve on its 9-14 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 1-21 record after their 66-27 league loss to Providence (Charlotte, NC).
