The New Standard Academy Spartans (Flint, MI) basketball nipped the host International Academy Phoenix (Flint, MI), 59-55 in Tuesday's league test.
The Spartans (11-5) will now prepare for their test against Flint Southwestern Academy (Flint, MI). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 1-12 record. In their last test, Flint Southwestern Academy was tipped by International Academy (Flint, MI), 42-34, in a league test.
The Phoenix now own a 11-6 record. They play next when they host Genesee for a non-league test on Friday, February 16. International Academy will encounter a Wolves squad coming off a 56-41 league win over Morrice (Morrice, MI). The Wolves record now stands at 5-11.
