The Kimball Cubs basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the host Royalton Royals to 44 in the Cubs league victory on Tuesday.
The Cubs now sport a 6-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Maple Lake for a A Section 5 contest on Thursday, February 15. Kimball will battle a Irish team coming off a 68-56 non-league win over North Lakes Academy (Forest Lake, MN). The Irish record now stands at 3-18.
The Royals (8-15) will now prepare for their contest against Sauk Centre (Sauk Centre, MN). The Mainstreeters come into the AA Section 6 contest with a 17-5 record. In their last contest, Sauk Centre prevailed over B O L D (Olivia, MN), 56-37, in a non-league contest.
