The Woodward Boomers (Woodward, OK) basketball nipped the visiting Kingfisher Yellowjackets (Kingfisher, OK), 54-49 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Boomers (12-11) will now prepare for their test against Weatherford (Weatherford, OK). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 22-1 record. In their last test, Weatherford got by Clinton (Clinton, OK), 76-24, in a league test.

The Yellowjackets now own a 7-16 record. They play next when they travel to Blanchard for a Western - North test on Saturday, February 17. Kingfisher will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 62-51 non-league win over Ardmore (Ardmore, OK). The Lions record now stands at 16-7.
