Lewiston-Altura Cardinals (Lewiston, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Plainview-Elgin-Millville Bulldogs (Elgin, MN), 85-65 in a league bout.

With the win, Lewiston-Altura upgrades its record to 17-12 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Wabasha-Kellogg (Wabasha, MN) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league bout on Friday, February 16. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 11-14. Wabasha-Kellogg lost 57-53 in their recent non-league bout against Chatfield (Chatfield, MN)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Dover-Eyota Eagles (Eyota, MN) in a AA Section 1 bout, on Friday, February 16. Plainview-Elgin-Millville will attempt to upgrade on its 7-20 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 8-15 record after their 81-50 league loss to St. Charles (St. Charles, MN).
