The South Gray Rebels basketball team (Montezuma, KS), was nudged 60-54 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting South Central Timberwolves (Coldwater, KS)

The Timberwolves now possess a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hodgeman County for a non-league battle on Friday, February 16. South Central will confront a Longhorns team coming off a 73-58 non-league win over Satanta (Satanta, KS). The Longhorns record now stands at 12-6.

The Rebels (16-2) will now prepare for their battle against Kiowa County (Greensburg, KS). The Mavericks come into the Southern Plains-Iroquois battle with a 10-9 record. In their last battle, Kiowa County edged Ingalls (Ingalls, KS), 69-50, in a non-league battle.
