Minnesota High School Basketball - Big Lake ripped by Monticello

The Monticello Magic basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Big Lake Hornets to 44 in the Magic league triumph on Tuesday.
The Magic now sport a 19-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Willmar for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 15. Monticello will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 48-39 league win over Sartell-St. Stephen (Sartell, MN). The Cardinals record now stands at 18-14.
The Hornets (8-13) will now prepare for their contest against Spectrum (Elk River, MN). The Sting enter the non-league contest with a 18-6 record. In their last contest, Spectrum was routed by Legacy Christian Academy (Andover, MN), 42-41, in a league contest.
