In Thursday's league contest, the host Cliff Cowboys/Cowgirls basketball team scored a good 49-39 triumph over the Magdalena Steers.

The Cowboys/Cowgirls (17-4) will now prepare for their contest against Non Varsity Opponent (, ). The go into the non-league contest with a 199-372 record.
