The Polytech Panthers basketball squad (Woodside, DE), lost 61-45 in Thursday's league battle with the host Sussex Central Golden Knights (Georgetown, DE)
With the victory, Sussex Central advances its record to 12-6 on the year. The Golden Knights host Lake Forest (Felton, DE) to meet the Spartans in a non-league battle on Monday, February 17. The Spartans enter the battle with a record of 12-6.
The Panthers now own a 2-19 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cape Henlopen for a Henlopen - Northern battle on Wednesday, February 19. Polytech will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 72-69 league loss to Smyrna (Smyrna, DE). The Vikings record now stands at 11-7.
